WyseDSP is a solo project — professional-grade audio plugins built from scratch in C++ and JUCE, with AI as a constant development partner.

// the project

Why WyseDSP exists

There are plenty of plugin developers. Most are large teams with substantial resources. WyseDSP exists to prove that one developer, the right toolchain, and AI-assisted development can produce plugins that compete on quality — not just on price.

Every plugin is written in C++ using the JUCE framework — the industry standard for cross-platform audio software. No shortcuts, no sample libraries borrowed from other products. The DSP algorithms, the signal chain, the preset library — all original work.

The development process pairs traditional software engineering with AI collaboration. Claude (Anthropic) acts as a constant pair-programming partner — not generating the whole plugin, but accelerating the difficult parts: complex DSP calculations, parameter management, UI layout, and debugging. The result is a development pace that wouldn't be possible solo, and a code quality that gets reviewed at every step.

Eamon Wyse

Senior digital and technical programme manager and developer, with a background spanning technology.

Musician, guitarist, and audio enthusiast. The plugin suite was born from playing through many amp simulators and wanting to produce something that people could use at home and record with, without breaking the bank. Building them from scratch was the obvious answer.
