// 03 / Synthesiser
Subtractive synthesiser with dual oscillators, flexible filter, full modulation, and 189 presets spanning five decades of synthesis.
// architecture
The WyseDSP Synth is built on a classic subtractive architecture: two oscillators feed into a multi-mode filter, shaped by ADSR envelopes for both the filter and the amp. An LFO with multiple destinations and a noise/pitch section round out the core engine. Performance controls — glide, sync, ring mod, spread — give you everything you need to move the sound.
The 189-preset library covers 12 categories including pads, leads, basses, keys, arps, and a dedicated Synth Revival category — patches built to sound like specific synthesisers from the 80s and 90s. Prince, NIN, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Howard Jones.
Saw, Square, Sine, Triangle, Noise. Independent level, tune, pulse width. OSC2 adds detune for instant thickness.
LowPass, HighPass, BandPass, Notch. Cutoff, resonance, envelope amount, key tracking.
Independent attack/decay/sustain/release envelopes for both filter and amplifier, with visual envelope display.
Sine, Triangle, Saw, Square waves. Routes to Filter or Amplitude. Rate, depth, and unison spread.
Velocity-to-filter, glide, oscillator sync, ring mod, and stereo spread. Mod wheel support.
Chorus (rate, depth, mix), Delay (time, feedback, mix), Reverb (size, damp, mix). All simultaneously.
